Macura Excavating was founded by Michael Macura Jr. with the mission to provide quality sitework and site development to Massachusetts. Michael grew up in the industry while working for his family’s former business in his early years.

Michael earned a B.S. in Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. After college, Michael worked as a Project Manager for a national construction company overseeing large ground-up and renovation building construction projects over various industries. Then Michael returned to his roots in the sitework industry under the Macura name which has been known for more than 30 years, establishing Macura Excavating in 2012.

His depth of knowledge and experience in the construction and sitework industries, is at the heart of every project of Macura Excavating.

Today, Michael brings not only sitework expertise, but also overall construction management skills to each project, offering his clients full service in every aspect of the job from the field to the office.
